DELIVERING (2) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 0.7 lengths back in fourth over 1400m at Ballarat. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Leading contender. WHIRLWIND (4) found a couple better last start at Wangaratta over 1590m after she was in the firing line on the turn. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from four starts. Will find this assignment a little tougher but she should run well. TOO VIENNESE (7) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 1200m at Mornington. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. STAND BY ME NED (3) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a nose over 1300m at Wodonga last time out. In form and will be running on hard again.
