NAVAL COMMISSION (12) did well when resuming over 1550m at Canterbury last start, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths. Overall record sound when second-up, including a win and two minor placings, and should be better for that first-up run. Expected to run well. SCALEXTRICS (8) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Will drift back but wind up late. Watch for a big run. OUR EMPRESS ZOE (15) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1600m at Warwick Farm, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
