Likely to figure prominently. LEADERBOARD (2) is a useful jumper who was sharpened up on the flat last start and finished seventh over 3000m at Mornington, beaten 35 lengths. That came after he took a tumble in The Brierly Steeple (3450m) at Warrnambool two runs back. Will be thereabouts. TREASURED CROWN (5) did a reasonable job when he finished third in a hurdle (3200m) at Warrnambool two runs back. Held that form last time when 0.8 lengths away in second in a hurdle (3500m) at Casterton. Hard to leave out. BLANDFORD LAD (3) was unplaced in The Brierly Steeple (3450m) at Warrnambool two starts back then turned in a better effort last time when he wound up in fourth on the flat at Werribee over 2761m, beaten 6 lengths. Deserves another chance.
