PRESOCRATICS (7) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1207m at Kilmore. Fitter and capable of taking this out. BJARNE (3) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1100m at Bendigo, beaten 5 lengths into fourth. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. BUILTTHISCITY (4) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at Moe. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. CHAMPAGNE WISHES (9) has not raced since her debut back on July 2 when she finished ninth over 1300m at Seymour. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
