METCALFE (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1.5 lengths back in fourth over 2060m at Doomben. Likely to measure up. JUNE (1) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when second over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Won't find this as tough. Well placed so expecting a strong run. MOANA KOHALA (6) broke her maiden last start over 1630m at Grafton, scoring by 0.7 lengths. Luke Rolls was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. KING'S WARRIOR (3) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1625m at Toowoomba, beaten 37 lengths into tenth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
