RAYMOND'S REWARD (2) ran well below his best last time over 1300m at Parkes, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth at $3.50. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. SKEPTICAL (11) broke her maiden last start over 1400m at Inverell, scoring by 1.1 lengths. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. DIAMONDSAREMIO (5) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 5.5 lengths into 13th over 1200m at Gosford. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
