EGYPTOLOGIST (4) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 1600m at Parkes. Has a decent second up record. Likely improver. MAJOR MAKEOVER (13) scored two back at Tamworth but was below his best last time when sixth over 1400m at Tamworth after being in the firing line on the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. VISUALISE (17) broke his maiden last start over 1400m at Glen Innes when resuming, scoring by 1.75 lengths. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated. LAISVAS (9) finished sixth last time out over 1600m at Quirindi, beaten 1.75 lengths. Is very effective at this distance with two wins from 17 runs. Everything points to a big run.
