Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. MICKIO (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Kyneton over 2809m after being in contention all the way. Nicely placed to find winning ways. TURFIE (9) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Kilmore. Less impressive last time out when sixth over 2100m at Benalla, beaten 4 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LUCKYHELEFT (1) is third up today. Turned in a better run last time when fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths, at Werribee over 2200m. Backmarker who keeps coming. Deserves respect on best figures.
