BOOMING LAD (7) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 1000m at Townsville. Strong record with Gabrielle Semmens aboard, including three wins. Should be involved in the finish. ACROPHOBIC (1) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 1200m at Townsville three-and-a-half months ago. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be thereabouts.
