DETERMINATION (6) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 12 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1400m at Rockhampton. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. UNCUT GEM (4) lines up for the first time since December 7. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1250m at Kempsey. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Has switched to the Michael L Evans yard. Makes plenty of appeal. TAHKIAN BUBBLES (10) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1050m at Rockhampton to finish a head from the winner in second. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from six outings. Don't underestimate.
