SHOALWATER BAY (5) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1350m at Quilpie. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. HARCH ROAD (2) produced a good effort last start when second over 1400m at this track to make it three minor placings from four starts this preparation. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. I SHOT THE SHERIFF (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 11 when beaten 2 lengths into fourth at this track over 1200m. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. HAMISO (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when 12th over 1300m at Barcaldine, beaten 14 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
