ARTFUL GIRL (7) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1680m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SHE'S GOT VEUVE (14) ran below expectations last time at Doomben, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths starting at $7.50. Finds a suitable assignment and can make amends. GRINZINGER KNIGHT (4) went forward over 1540m at Gold Coast Poly last time but found one better. Emily Lang is back on and has a solid record on the six-year-old, including two wins. One of the contenders. MORE TROUBLE (10) finished tenth last time out over 1600m at Eagle Farm, beaten 4.5 lengths. Capable of playing a big role.
