TEXAS FIREBALL (3) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fifth over 1680m at this track last start. Better than the last effort and is a winning chance. THEBARBEROFSEVILLE (5) scored last start at Gatton to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Meets a tougher line-up this time but is among the better hopes.
