COUPLES RETREAT (9) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. INSIST (3) continues to race well with a win two back at Newcastle before finishing 2.5 lengths away in third last time over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Deserves another chance. APACHE BREEZE (1) improved last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at Newcastle. Likely improver with strong prospects. ENSIGN PARKER (12) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing 11th over 1450m at Muswellbrook. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
