CHEROKEE BRAVE (12) turned in a nice run when fresh from a spell two starts back at Kyneton then missed the placings last time when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1728m at Sale. Rates highly and can bounce back. CLEITUS (3) started at $7 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths at Warrnambool over 1700m. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. WINSTON (7) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 2.75 lengths back in fourth over 1525m at this track. Among the chances. MUPPET (10) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1800m at Caulfield Heath. Will find this easier. Not to be discounted.
