WAREO ROAD (1) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 975m at Swan Hill when returning from a break. Fitter and the blinkers come off. Expected to be in the finish. LULO ROSE (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5 lengths away in eighth over 1000m at Casterton. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. THE LAST JUDGEMENT (8) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Horsham with a win over 1009m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by one length. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. BEFORE THE WAR (5) struggling to break through and over a year since a win, last start finishing second over 1009m at this track. Jake Duffy is yet to win when aboard but has never been out of the money from three rides. Deserves respect.
