MANDARA SUN (11) improved sharply on her ninth two starts back at Seymour with a win over 1744m at Sale two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Has the class to score again. PURVEYOR (1) finished fourth over 1600m at Cranbourne when resuming last start, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Second up record is sound. This doesn't look as hard so he can make amends. RUSHFORD (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1600m at Seymour after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
