ANGEL CAPITAL (2) is a progressive three-year-old colt who resumes from a break of four months, his last appearance being a win over 1400m in the G2 Autumn Stakes at Caulfield at his only run of that campaign. Trialling well leading into this. Is yet to beaten first up from three starts. Ben Melham who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Best form puts him right in this. JUST PARTY (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1400m at Hawkesbury. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. RAIKKONEN (10) impressed when he scored by 0.8 lengths first-up in a weaker race last start over 1200m at Gosford. Won at his only second-up appearance and is worth following up.
