Race sets up well for him. NEW ENDEAVOUR (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 25 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 2100m at Gosford, beaten 3.5 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent. BANKERS CHOICE (3) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by a nose over 2400m in the LR Mornington Cup. Has the speed to overcome a wide draw. Has the talent to take this out. REGAL AZMON (2) performed above expectations last time over 1600m in the G3 The Cummings Stakes at Morphettville, getting the prize by 0.8 lengths. Backmarker who gets home hard. Don't underestimate.
