Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SPIRIT OF NURAI (16) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1350m at Ipswich. Sure to be prominent from the outset. FIRST MAN (3) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1400m at Gold Coast, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Re-unites with Michael Rodd who was on board last start. Harder this time but still one to consider. SIMPLY FUN (10) finished fifth over 1630m at this track at his most recent appearance on January 22. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
