MAZIS (9) is a talented gelding who was well held last time out in the tougher Rough Habit Plate won by Imperialist over 2000m at this track, beaten 15 lengths into 13th. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to hold out. CONVO (11) broke her maiden last start over 1680m at Ipswich, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Kyle Wilson-Taylor was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Can go right on with the job now. CAPTAIN GOOD VIBES (5) got the cash over 2225m at Gold Coast at his most recent appearance on March 22. One to consider. METCALFE (10) was below his best last time, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
