DOUGIE'S DREAM (7) recorded her first win last start over 975m at Swan Hill, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. RAGING MONKEY (16) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest seventh at Echuca over 1009m. Open to improvement and is among the chances. COOL THE JETS (1) made a strong late bid only to just miss when first-up as favourite last start over 1075m at Penola. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. PER SEMPRE (9) made late ground and finished second last time over 1000m at Bendigo, beaten 7 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
