BOLD INSTINCT (5) has strung together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on June 1 over 1009m when he scored by a nose. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. ANYWAYS ROXIE (4) battled on well to hold third last start over 1009m at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths when resuming as favourite. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. SEYDOUX (3) was below her best last time when tenth after being prominent at the turn over 1400m at Pakenham, beaten 9 lengths. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including three wins. Erica Byrne Burke gets the best out of this six-year-old mare. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. TSUNAMI SAM (2) resumes in a similar race to his last run five months ago when ninth, beaten 4 lengths. Has found a suitable race and is worth including.
