STEP ON FIRE (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Kilcoy, finishing second and only a head from the winner at the end of 1200m when he worked home well. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. GLENRAY'S MATE (4) did little and finished 13 lengths from the winner in ninth over 2450m at Beaudesert last start, a less impressive effort than his eighth at Gold Coast Poly the run before.
