At the last run before the layoff he finished sixth over 1312m at Geelong. Should be forward enough following three recent trials. Good chance to break through. COUNTRY BLUES (2) finished third, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1125m at Geelong. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. PRINCE OF BROOKY (6) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fifth at Ballarat over 1100m, beaten 5 lengths. Among the better hopes.
