ESCARPA (12) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of her ground last start when 4.5 lengths away in sixth over 1200m at Mornington. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. ROSE DE VELLOR (1) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Pakenham with success as public elect over 1200m at Pakenham three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on current form she is right in contention. QUEEN KATRINA (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 1203m at Kyneton. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she is right in the mix again. MISS SWIFT (2) was a winner over 1112m at Geelong last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by a head. Can figure in the finish again.
