Opened with a third at Avoca two starts back then got the job done by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside. Has the class to take care of this field. VOLATILE (8) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1100m at Sale, scoring by a head. Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. THUNDER AWARD (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1200m at Pakenham, finishing second and beaten a long neck. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
