LAURA'S GOLD (5) started at $4.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 2.25 lengths at Pakenham over 1100m. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. BANGHOLME (3) showed good pace over 900m at Mt Gambier last time and went on to score by 2 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. BELMASAI (1) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1000m at Echuca, beaten only half a length. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LULO ROSE (7) turned in a solid first-up effort at Donald then wasn't beaten all that far last time when sixth at Horsham over 1100m. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
