SHOREMAN (7) started at $4.40 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at Sapphire Coast over 1410m after being prominent at the turn. Has the class to take care of this field. BARDETTE (15) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth in a 1000m contest at Canberra two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
