ROYAL GAP (3) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 2.75 lengths at Pinjarra Scarpside over 1400m. Has been thereabouts without winning and gets his chance to break through. ASPHALT (2) could only manage ninth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten a nose after being in the firing line on the corner. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. YALLINGUP GIRL (9) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 20 starts. Was again denied last start when she found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be underestimated. SHEEZA SHEILA (5) scored two back at Belmont Park but was below her best last time when seventh over 1675m at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone.
