MAGNABURMA (8) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start and finished second, beaten a nose, over 1300m at this track. Looked at home on this surface last time and is a major player again. CAPTAIN ROGERS (3) last appeared when he finished 12th over 1400m at Kalgoorlie on August 11. Now under the care of new trainer Jody Mc Laughlin. Has to be respected.
