ALLOUVRE (3) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1300m at Swan Hill, getting home by a long neck. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to score again. RUPERTS RED ROCKET (15) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at Swan Hill, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. IMPENDING SHADOW (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Caulfield, beaten 4 lengths into ninth. No surprise to see her in contention.
