ANGEL LADDER (20) stepped out for her debut over 1000m in the G3 Ottawa Stakes at Flemington back on March 8 and finished 11th, beaten 6 lengths. Capable of sharp improvement. WILD ROSES GROW (18) returned from a spell two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh over 1200m at Mornington. Won't find this as tough so she is a key runner. COSMIC SHOWER (4) is a three-start maiden who finished tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1100m at Flemington. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
