KAREEM (8) ran below expectations last time at Sunshine Coast Poly over 2000m, finishing fifth and beaten 10 lengths. Can atone for that last run. BADGERS NUTS (2) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win by 1.3 lengths over 1435m at Grafton. Has a very good record here with three wins from six starts. Will be hard to stop. TYNDRUM GOLD (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when ninth in a 1680m contest at Ipswich a week-and-a-half ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. FLASHING STEEL (3) has been out of the money at his last couple, the latest in city class when eighth at Doomben, beaten 3.5 lengths. Easier assignment this time and should do much better.
