ROO DASH ONE (8) returns from a spell of six months and did win first-up last time in work over 1000m at Ballarat Synthetic. Ran fourth in a trial at Avoca over 800m recently. Will be tough to beat. SWEET CITY DANCER (13) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1100m at Kerang, scoring by 2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jake Duffy was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Nicely placed to double the win tally. PEACE BABY (6) got the prize two runs ago at Geelong. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 1100m at Werribee, beaten 5.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. ICHIBERU (9) is coming along nicely this prep, scoring by 1.75 lengths last start over 1000m at Bendigo. Solid top-three prospects.
