The Mavericks have caused some big upsets this season, including handing Houston their only loss of the season. Can they cause another upset in San Antonio?
Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs
It's a Battle of Texas, and the Mavericks have gone under the radar as a bit of a surprise packet this season, despite their most recent loss to the Kings.
At 4-3, the Kyrie and Flagg combination for Dallas can do some serious damage, as demonstrated in wins over the Thunder and Rockets.
The Spurs haven't quite hit their straps this season, but still sit 5-2 led by Wemby and Dylan Harper.
Same Game Multi
Leg 1 - Daniel Gafford 16+ PR
He was awful in his first two games of the NBA season, but Daniel Gafford's form has turned the corner and the big man is playing solid minutes.
Gafford is averaging 26 minutes per game from his last five, resulting in an average PR of 21.6, and he has hit 16+ PR in all five games, including a 20-point and 7-rebound game last start against the Kings.
He had 12 points and 9 rebounds when he faced the Spurs earlier in the season.
Leg 2 - Keldon Johnson 12+ PR
Last year's Sixth Man winner had a terrible playoff series, but Keldon Johnson's minutes are back up in his bench role for the Spurs this season, and he's posting solid numbers.
Johnson is averaging 9.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game to start his 2026-27 campaign and has hit 12+ PR in six of his seven games.
He was quiet in his game against the Mavs earlier this season, but still managed a PR of 13.
Leg 3 - Dylan Harper 25+ PRA
He's an absolute jet, and we're starting to see some well-rounded numbers from Harper over the last few games.
From his last ten games, which include the NBA Finals, Harper is averaging a PRA of 29.3 and has hit 25+ PRA in all ten games.
Two starts ago against the Timberwolves, Harper had 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. He's on the brink of a triple double.
Gafford 16+ PR / Keldon Johnson 12+ PR / Harper 25+ PRA @ $3.50
Value Bet
Dylan Harper 7+ Rebounds @ $3.10
As I said before, Harper is on the verge of his first triple double, posting strong assist numbers of late, but his rebounding numbers have always been strong for a guard.
Harper has hit 7+ rebounds in three of his seven games this season, and he's been consistent on the glass, hitting 5+ in six of his seven games.
He has recorded 7 rebounds in his last two games, including his most recent game against the Jazz in just 27 minutes. If the Mavs can make this a contest, we should see 34+ minutes from Harper, giving him a huge chance to hit 7+ rebounds or even that triple double.
