ALAZWAR (13) finished second when resuming two runs back at Chelmsford then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 2000m at Newbury. Miss Brodie Hampson scored on him last time and retains the mount. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to score again. WESTERNESSE (4) finished fifth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.5 lengths as public elect over 1970m at Ripon. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. LEADENHALL (2) is going along well and wound up nicely last time over 1800m at this track to finish third. Best figures stack up well here and should be doing best work late. WHATHAPPENSINVEGAS (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Hamilton Park over 2200m after being up on the pace until straightening. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
