UNCLE SIMON (3) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 7 lengths into sixth over 1400m at Salisbury. Strips fitter and can take care of this field. ALIVE AGAIN (4) didn't do a lot on debut a week-and-a-half ago, finishing 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1540m at Lingfield. Plenty of scope for improvement. Expected to be competitive. BOTH OF US (2) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when sixth in a 1200m contest at Lingfield All Weather five days ago. Has the ability to produce a better result.
