ASPIRE TO GLORY (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Southwell All Weather with a win over 1400m at Chelmsford three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce. PESSOA (5) turned in a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at this track over 1900m. Leading player again. ROYAL OBSERVATORY (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. No reason he cannot salute again. RIVER ALWEN (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1900m. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
