Finished sixth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Newbury then improved and scored as favourite over 3560m at Fontwell Park two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. FAST STEPS (9) finished eighth over 2220m at Kempton Park All Weather at his most recent appearance on November 4. Has a solid first-up record of two wins and two placings from six starts. Sure to make his presence felt.
