Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from four outings. Leading contender. ZIGGY'S ARIEL (2) finished fourth two runs back at Wolverhampton then improved last time out to score by a neck as favourite after being in the firing line on the corner over 1200m at Ripon. Meeting a deeper field this time but she can win again. INITIAL BLUE (4) is back from a spell of six months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 1200m contest at Chelmsford by a nose. Winning claims on best figures. DISTANT RUMBLE (7) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.75 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration.
