A T SPICA (2) showed good early speed over 1200m at Funabashi last time and went on to salute by 0.8 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from four starts. Shapes as one to consider. VASILOPAIS (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at Kawasaki, beaten 14 lengths into 13th. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
