GREAT SPIRIT (1) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.1 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at Funabashi after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. CORLEONE (12) missed the placings when resuming at Kawasaki two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1500m at Kawasaki, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VERMOGEN (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at Kawasaki after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CHIKACHAN (6) finished fifth last time out over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 7 lengths. One of the key chances.
