STAR KOMACHI (3) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 11 lengths when tenth in a 1500m contest at Kawasaki two weeks ago. Going up a level this time but she is good enough to play a major role. YAMABUKI (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 11 lengths when ninth in a 1200m contest at Funabashi three-and-a-half weeks ago. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. LAMBDA (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 14 when beaten 10 lengths into 11th at Kawasaki over 1400m after being prominent at the turn. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race.
