Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. MONUMENT KING (8) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 1400m, beaten a nose. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on five occasions from nine starts. Expected to be competitive. DANDY JACK (4) showed early speed from an outside draw when resuming last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish second, beaten 3 lengths, over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task.
