LUMINANCE (11) is a talented filly who was well held last time out in the tougher Great Northern Champagne Stakes won by Do You Just over 1600m at Ellerslie, beaten 11 lengths into sixth. Finds a suitable assignment and can play a big role. RIOMOSA (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1360m at Wanganui, beaten 11 lengths into seventh after being prominent at the turn. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. ALCARAZ (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1000m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
