SYDNEY HOBART (5) has been kept fresh since an all-the-way win over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Should be prominent again and is a leading hope. MERCURY DIME (13) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt three-and-a-half months ago and has not appeared since. Has plenty of upside and can win again. TAISEI KAISER (14) turned in a modest performance when 11th last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten 15 lengths. That followed a good win on debut at Chukyo Dirt. Finds a suitable race and can return to winning ways. AUREA MIST (1) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last three months ago when he scored over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Serious contender.
