TACTICAL AFFAIR (1) failed to finish when well in the market two back in a steeplechase (3410m) at Plumpton then finished second, 7 lengths from the winner, more recently in a steeplechase (3310m) at Worcester. Right in the mix with the confidence back. CAWTHORNE CRACKER (2) returned from a spell last start with a strong third in a steeplechase (3280m) at Sedgefield. Hard to knock. CULLIGRAN (3) finished fourth the start before last in a hurdle (3200m) at Warwick then wound up in fourth last time in a hurdle (3200m) at Ludlow. Capable of turning things around.
