DOWN TO THE KID (1) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on April 4 over 1600m when he got home by a nose. Has the talent to take this out. MILTEYE (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well when returning from a break last time at Pontefract, finishing second and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. JACK DANIEL (9) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a second last start over 1600m at this track. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. DISTINCTION (7) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 2000m at Doncaster, finishing third and beaten one length. Well placed and should be about the mark.
