MAGNIFICENT NINE (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DEFINITIVE (9) raced on the speed last time but faded to finish seventh over 1650m at Happy Valley. Has the pace and the right draw to find a good early position. Winning claims on best figures. HUGE WAVE (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1600m at this track. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
